PFLAG Hartford Volunteer Application
We are delighted that you are considering becoming more involved in PFLAG Hartford! Lending your passion, skills, and talents to our 100% volunteer-led organization enables you to give back to a cause that you love, become a more involved member of the PFLAG Hartford family, and have fun doing it!
As you fill out this application, think realistically about how you are able to contribute. Whether you want to take on a board position (form after this one), donate time for a particular project or committee, or simply want to be called on to help out at events, please let us know. Our volunteers help out in a variety of ways and at different commitment levels.

PFLAG Hartford Board Application
PFLAG Hartford is a “working board” –board members are expected to:
• Commit to a TWO-year term for most board positions (3 years for Pres, VP, Secty, Treasurer)
• Be familiar with the vision, mission and workings of PFLAG National and our chapter
• Work towards the yearly goals of the Hartford chapter
• Perform the duties of your particular position, enlisting volunteers and/or forming a committee, if needed
• Prepare for, attend, and participate in our monthly board meetings – held the SECOND TUESDAY of each month, 6:30 – 8:00 pm.
